Fruiting Up

Hello


I'm beginning this blog (as if I need one more task to focus on) in hopes of inspiring others, and even myself. I hope that making a daily entry into this page with keep me accountable, clear, and raw. This is an account of eating only raw foods, and mostly fruit in the beginning.

The last resource, Chris, is very important because I'm really focusing on a specific protocol on his page. Since I'm going to be eating mostly fruit, I felt that the NORI protocol was a good one (See the videos on his page entitled, "How Candice-Marie Fox healed advanced thyroid cancer" and "How a high fruit diet can reverse cancer: The science behind the NORI protocol"). Why? I know that I need to stay raw, I feel so much better when I do! I know for sure that I need to be eating extremely hydrating foods that are easy to digest, which means taking in plenty of fruit. Plus, the NORI protocol does give you a little break from the 90%-100% 10 day fruit binge.

Sadly, foods (even raw, organic) that are high in fiber (most vegetables) and fat (olive oil, hemp oil, avocado, etc.) have been a pain in my stomach and have been keeping me up at night when consumed. I absolutely love these foods, but man oh man are they paining me. I'm talking stomach cramps, fatigue, and anxiety galore! I won't even go into the tomatoes, peppers, and other nightshades.

I am NOT telling anyone NOT to consume these super nutritious foods. I am just saying that I have been listening to my body for the past few months and these foods are not agreeing with me at this time. I hope that after I "clean up" and "repair", that I will be able to slowly introduce my loves back into my diet.

Onto Tomorrow, The Beginning

My goals: 
(1) Eat only raw foods that are either fruit or vegetable juice (vegetables when juiced are easier to digest as most of the fiber is taken out in the process)

Candice-Marie used this recipe during the high fruit NORI protocol: beet, carrot, celery

(2) Do not drink any coffee, drink more water (I normally have 2-5 cups of coffee per day)

(3) Wake up early to meditate/pray/read (I'm in desperate need of emotional and spiritual healing as well, not just physical)
